Visas for Surinamese citizens

Última actualização: 29.06.2011 //

Citizens of Suriname need a visa to visit Norway. Norway entered the Schengen cooperation on 25 March 2001. A Schengen visa issued by an Embassy or Consulate of one of the Schengen countries will in principle allow the holder to travel to all the Schengen countries.

In case you are not already in the possession of a visa to a Schengen country (Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland), and Norway is your main destination, you may obtain a visa from The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Brasilia.

In Paramaribo you can also apply for a visa to Norway at the Netherlands Embassy. For more information, please consult the home page of the Netherlands Embassy at www.nederlandseambassade.sr
